We developed an independent cart flow and implemented an easy and quick checkout process, which puts all checkout elements on one page and handles their dependency to downstream the system involved in batch processes. We analyzed the existing QA automation framework and recommended improvements for better test coverage in lesser time.
Our experts developed a one-click checkout process that can be accomplished within a single page, replacing the multi-step checkout, where a user had to go through several pages before confirming the order. This has improved their customers' overall experience, which helped in reducing cart abandonment and avoid business loss.
Within the process, the users now select a category or product with a subscription and apply a coupon code (if applicable) for validation. They then navigate to the billing page and enter their address to create an address object validated using the client’s standardized address service. The service makes an API call to the router to access backend functionality and perform the address validation. Finally, when customers click on the ‘buy’ button, the payment method is authorized using the payment gateway.
The customers who bought the products from retail stores can now buy subscriptions related to workout plans directly from the client’s website. Hence, the client doesn’t lose any revenue to a third party in the form of a sales commission.
