GSPANN held its first Ideathon on 2nd March, 2019. The objective of this intra-company event was to bring fore the technical issues/challenges and invite the most promising ideas and solutions to address them. The event received an appreciable response from all GSPANN locations. Spearheading this initiative was Pradeep Chigale, who is a Learning and Development Manager with GSPANN and operates out of our Hyderabad location. Ideathon was graced by our guest speaker Rohit Chennamaneni, who is the co-founder of Darwinbox - India’s fastest growing HR Technology platform. An IIM-Lucknow alumnus, Rohit has worked for organizations like Mckinsey, Google, and P&G prior to starting Darwinbox. We had 16 teams presenting their ideas to our panel members. Our panelists included Narayan Murthy, Venu Akella, Pavan Borra, Syed Faiyaz, Mukesh Pandey, and Raghunath Vemuri. The leadership team also played a great role in motivating and helping in the execution of the company’s first Ideathon. The teams brainstormed their ideas around the role of artificial intelligence and machine learning in delivering a seamless experience to the online shoppers, usage of security dashboard and automation tools, smoothen the process from product search to the checkout, etc. We witnessed some exceptionally well-coordinated team effort in delivering innovative projects.
